The Final Fantasy games did not adopt their signature vocal performances until Final Fantasy VIII, though VII was considered a pioneer with "One Winged Angel" -- the powerful final battle theme accompanied by a choir. Upon the release of Final Fantasy X, vocalist RIKKI -- the singer behind the love theme -- also covered a vocal version of "Aeris' Theme".
